Homemade Hempseed Milk

This is a quick & easy way to make a delicious milk substitute full of protein and healthy fats! 

Ingredients

  • 1 cup hempseeds
  • 4 cups water
  • 1 Tbsp coconut oil
  • 2 Tbsp maple syrup
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp cinnamon

Instructions

Place all the ingredients in a high-speed blender and blend for at least 1 minute.

It's as easy as that!

Notes

You can swap out the hempseeds for almonds, sunflower seeds or macadamia nuts. If you do swap out the hemseeds for a nut with skins, you will need to strain the milk with a fine mesh colander, cheese cloth, or nut-milk bag to remove the skins from the liquid.

 

** This milk can be stored for up to 4 days and keeps best in the fridge in a glass jar.
